Create your virtual tour with ease. The Matterport Pro2 is a very powerful visual tool for architectural design, real estate sales, and location scouting for film and television productions. Viewers are shown to be 300% more engaged by the beautiful and accurate high resolution imagery of these 3D virtual tours over traditional photography. Using Matterport will provide your clients with an immersive informative experience beyond 2D imagery or videos.
In addition to being the gold standard 3D camera in its class, the Matterport Pro2 requires minimal training to set up and use. For capturing the 3D image, all it takes is setting up the device on a tripod (included with your rental from us), and pressing a single button. You can then quickly and easily view and edit your Matterport 3D capture on any iOS device running the Matterport Capture app.
The device has a powerful battery which comes fully charged. This makes capturing multiple properties or large commercial buildings in a single day, without having to worry about plugging in cables.
Once you capture your 3D imagery, audiences can virtually explore every square inch of a property at any time no matter where they are in the world. The project presenter can also very easily share tours on social media platforms, through email, or even embed virtual tours directly on a website or blog.
If you’re looking for an example of exactly what the Matterport Pro2 is capable of and would like to see the end product that will ultimately be explored by the end user, please see below for a tour of Bud’s Studio - Expressway’s video production studio. Take some time to experience the Matterport’s superb image quality and experiment with some of the more involved capabilities of the simple to use software.
As you will see in the tour, Matterport provides the ability to communicate points of interest throughout a tour, providing in-depth highlights and specific selling points or notable features for your viewer or client. There are even built-in spatial measurement tools that clients can use to reference the size of a space in real-time.
In addition to the ease of use, portability, and quality of the capture, the Matterport Pro2 has some impressive hardware specifications. It uses an impressive structured light (infrared) 3D Sensor to perform a full scan (360 degrees horizontally, 300 degrees vertically) that collects 10 points of distance data for every one degree of travel during its 20 second scan. This results in approximately 4 million points of distance data per capture. The camera can export print-quality still images upto 8092px x 4552px, and it has a lens constructed of 100% glass with incredible image reproduction.
