This is where it all began. In 2010, Expressway Cinema Rentals was born in a single-car garage in the Kensington neighborhood of North Philly. We had no idea where this journey would take us at the time, but we were on a mission.
Ten years and thousands of soft pretzels later, our organization has grown through a culture of continuous creation into Philadelphia's largest and most experienced provider of equipment rentals, technical support, studio space, supplies, and production staffing for the photo and video industries.
Our dedicated Camera and G&E staff are all experienced technicians who are working in the industry and are genuinely excited about supporting the creative community. We are committed to the growth of Philly’s film industry and supporting New Jersey, Delaware, and the Greater Philadelphia region to build a better infrastructure. As Expressway has grown, so have Philly’s capabilities. We are so proud to have played a part in this city’s renaissance—and we’re just getting started.
