The circular polarizer extracts unwanted glare and reflections to render crisp and vibrant scenery on-screen.  It’s most common uses include producing ultra-defined clouds and a dramatically rich blue sky.  Circular polarizers suit a multitude of situations, and are specifically designed for use with auto-focus SLR cameras (They will also work on manual systems and video cameras without problems).
