Vellum, most commonly referred to as Thousand H (1000H) is a semi-transparent, archival grade drafting, or tracing paper, used primarily in arts, crafts and architecture.  It is known for its strength and durabity.  In the film industry, it is used as a heavy lighting diffusion.
