Canon Sumire 7 Lens Set

Canon's Sumire lenses offer an interesting balance of a modern lens retaining contrast and sharpness yet exhibiting controlled veiling and flaring on bright point sources and overexposed fields.The Sumires produce warm neutral flares that can be round and full but not overbearing. With minimal halation, the contrast, sharpness, and overall resolving power remain strong. Opening all the way to T1.5 results in lowered contrast creating a bit of a velvety look. Stopping the lenses down to a T2.0 results in increased contrast and resolution. The velvety diminishes and the flares become less pronounced. 

Some notable features of this set are the close focus capabilities, how well they match between focal lengths, and the wide range of focal lengths available. Wide Full frame Vintage lenses are often hard to find; Sumires provide a nice alternative to Modern glass options for those looking for something in a middle ground.
