Efficient, Robust, Flexible. Arri’s Alexa 35 Xtreme takes the best of their Alexa 35 and ups the ante with powerful hardware and software upgrades. The newly designed processor allows frame rates up to 330 fps with no compromise to the 17 stop dynamic range, while Sensor Overdrive mode allows users to double that with 11 stops (both of these top speed options with the camera operating with a 2k 16:9 S16 mode, see below for further specs). With faster and higher capacity on-board memory, this camera is designed to eliminate the need for separate high-speed bodies on set.

At the heart of the 35 Xtreme’s recording capabilities is Arri’s next generation recording format- ARRICORE. ARRICORE retains essential postproduction flexibility by using ARRI's REVEAL color pipeline while debayering and compressing in-camera. Exposure, white balance, and color tint are applied non-destructively during capture and can be changed in post, while achieving a 50% reduced data footprint over ARRIRAW. The format is also designed to be post ready, with no transcoding required for instant proxy workflows.
