1800w Arri M18 HMI - High Speed System

The Arri M18 HMI High-Speed System includes a specialized ballast that allows you to set the output to high-speed frequencies to avoid any flicker in your image when shooting in higher frame rates.

The Arri M18 Head features the unique ARRIMAX reflector design that creates diverging rays to produce crisp shadow. The Arri M 18 combines the desired light distribution from the optics of a PAR and a Fresnel fixture. Conversion kits are available to adapt the M18 to an AS18. 

This innovative lamphead works with a new power class of lamp: The 1800W SE HMI. This lamp boasts 750 hours of average life and a Luminous Efficacy of 92 lumens per Watt (L/W). The Color Rendering Index (Ra) is greater than 90 at 6000K (CCT). This unit also supports a 1200W lamp. The M18 is designed to be intense and efficient, it has a beam angle (HPA) of 20 to 60 degrees and a wide usable field angle. The M18 showcases convenient, cost- effective qualities in addition to the known characteristics and high standards of ARRI HMIs. The distinctive power class of this head has also necessitated the design of a new electronic ballast, the Arri EB 1200/ 1800 incorporates the latest advancements in efficiency to supply proper power for these lamps.
